Believe me you want to become an active and participating member of these sites before you start blatantly promoting your stuff there…
You want to avoid being labeled as a spammer at all costs so you want to make several submissions and casually blend in your own personal stories from your Blog from time to time.
The LAST thing you want to do is make your first submission to any site any type of promotion.
The members of most of these news style sites are pretty tight and eat rookie internet marketers for breakfast!
